Torso/Blur

Recently, I've been interested in the torso. The head can be too distracting and full of meaning. The whole body can be too obvious. Yet it seems as soon as you crop the head and the legs you have a tension. Somehow mixed in with this topic, is the element of blur, or/and out of focus images. These two topics seem to be friends and want to work together.

If I'm kind to myself, they put me in mind of Ryan McGinley, Wolfgang Tillmans and Jurgen Teller. Which reminds me, I need to organise a UK version of those trips across the USA that Ryan does. He just gets a few mates and they drive across country and taking photos. Anyone up for that, let me know.
